Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs)

The following MoUs are coordinated by Electronics and Communication Engineering Department:

1. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Jaypee University of Information & Technology, Waknaghat Solan, Himachal Pradesh and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Govt. Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pragatinagar Shimla,Himachal Pradesh.

• Atal Bihari Vajpayee Govt Institute of Engineering and Technology (ABVGIET), Pragatinagar, Shimla student’s visit to the department of ECE, JUIT on December 20, 2022
• PG Career Counseling Programme at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pragatinagar, Shimla on July 15, 2022

• Lecture on "Machine Learning: Replicating Human Brain" by Dr. Nishant Jain on 7th June, 2021

2. MoU with Mitsubishi Electric India Private Limited for Industrial Automation

• Dr. Pardeep Garg attended 3rd Authorized Training Center (ATC) Meet was organized by Mitsubishi Electric India at NIRMA University, Ahmedabad during 22-23 February 2024
• 2-days training session on Mitsubishi FA Set-Up, 23-24 Feb 2023
• From 22 June 2022 to 24 June, 2022, MEI in JUIT has conducted a training course to train its faculty members and lab-staff. Mr. Kirit Singh Chauhan from MEI Pvt. Ltd. delivered lectures and demonstrated the working of different components present in kits in a brief and precise manner. In this training faculty, lab-staff from different departments participated and interacted with engineer for better utilization of the kits.
  During this training, Installation of required software for the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Inverter, Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Servo Control was done. A precise presentation was given on the significance, purpose and programming the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) along with demonstrations based on PLC programming.

3. MoU between JUIT & BSNL Solan.

• BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LIMITED HP TELECOM CIRCLE (BSNL) Solan, Himachal Pradesh on February 04, 2023

4. JUIT has signed an MOU with Aether Semiconductors Ltd. Mohali. This collaboration intends to address the semiconductor industry and academia gaps. This MoU will be helpful in the facilitation of joint research and training activities.

5. JUIT has signed an MOU with IIT Mandi on 28th Sep, 2023.

• A. Abhijjet Khokhar and Risheek Vaibhav have done internships in MIC lab (Project CCA) under Dr. Tushar Jain starting from 1 January 2024.
• B. Yashvardhan Kapil, Sanat Jain, Bhoomika Kandpal, and Harshita Verma have done internships in Cair under Dr. Radhey Shyam from 1 January 2024 to 1 February 2024 .
• C. Arpan Chauhan, Ankush Singh and Divyansh Sehgal have done internships in Cair under Dr. Jagdish Kadiyam from 1 January 2024 to 2 March 2024.
• D. Devansh Barki has done internships in iHub at IIT Mandi from 1 January 2024 to 15 February 2024.

6. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Jaypee University of Information & Technology, Waknaghat Solan, Himachal Pradesh and Biomedical Instruments and Devices Hub: A Center for Innovation, Design, and Clinical Validation, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

7. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Jaypee University of Information & Technology, Waknaghat Solan, Himachal Pradesh and University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain.

8. Tripartite MoU between JUIT, IISc Bangalore and LAM Research
(An initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India)
Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of JUIT is honored to be a part of a prestigious program being implemented by IISc Banglore in collaboration with LAM Research under the initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India for the Manpower training program in the domain of Micro and Nanofabrication Technology. Signing of the tripartite MoU between JUIT, LAM Research, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, has concluded electronically on 07/06/2026 and is valid till 31/12/2031. It shall result in equipping the JUIT VLSI Laboratory with the Microfabrication Process simulator Tool namely "SEMulator3D" by LAM Research. SEMulator3D software licenses shall be provided by Lam Research for training our students/Faculty on semiconductor process simulation as per the number of students enrolled in the course for training in the university campus.
